Nellie

Nellie is an estimated 2 year old female German Shepherd looking for a forever home. She is up to date on shots, spayed and microchipped. She is crate trained and housebroken.

Nellie was found as an unclaimed stray who was very shy. She has quickly learned to trust and though continues to be shy and reserved, has come a long way in the past weeks in rescue. She is learning to play with other dogs and is opening up to most people. She takes a bit to warm up at first, and this will continue to be a work in progress for her. She does not have a prey drive. She also is working on her recall; though mostly when called she will lay down and wait to be approached and leashed. She has the sweetest demeanor and is blossoming in her personality. She benefits from being around another dog to help show her the ropes and make her feel safe.
